The Symers offer World Champion quality show horses that exhibit the stamina, versatility and loving personalities that Morgans have always been the strongholds of our breed. Adhering to a linebreeding program that focuses on the Waseeka's In Command bloodlines offered by such famous sires as Nobility, Noble Flaire, HVK Bell Flaire, Troutbrook Alexander and Aristocratic Aire, Legendary Morgan Farm offers the size, type and overall athletic ability that is desired in the show ring today, while still delivering the companion animals that make perfect family pleasure horses.

JD and Susan Symer founded Legendary Morgan Farm in the early 1960s and enjoyed two decades of success showing Morgan Horses to the regional championship level in hand, English pleasure, pleasure driving and park harness with such wonderful horses as Casland Don Marquis, Casland Eagle, Casland Bumble Bee, Casland Imperial and Legendary Johnny D. In the 1980's, the Symers also began to experience success in the Jr. Exhibitor and Equitation divisions as daughters Wendy and Jill entered the show ring.

In the early 1990s, the Symers emerged into World Championship competition first with Havenwood Courtney's Pride, better known as "Woody" to all who know and love him. Under the direction of Judy Whitney, Woody won the 1991 Grand National Three Year Old English Pleasure Championship and the World Champion Three Year Old English Pleasure titles just a few short days after the Symers purchased him. In the years to follow, Woody was often undefeated in the region as an Amateur Engilsh Pleasure mount for Wendy Symer-Linder under the direction of Kathy Minder at the historic Cotton Hill Farm.

In 1999, JW Jealouslee was added to the Symers' breeding operation. She was the Reserve World Champion Junior Mare in 1995 and the Reserve World Champion Futurity Park Saddle Three Year Old in 1996. Along with numerous other regional titles, (more...)
